Kevin Antcliff is currently in his eighth year of writing on a professional level. Over that time, he has had stints at publications such as Motor City Sports Magazine, Mile High Sports Magazine, Colorado Hockey Insider, Colorado Football Insider, The Stampede, and MiSports Magazine.

He caught the writing bug after serving as a prep basketball stringer for the Vicksburg Commercial-Express in the Fall of 2001. Shortly after his time there was up, Kevin answered a call from the official Web site of the Detroit Pistons for guest columnists. After being selected from among thousands of applicants to have his work appear on the site during the summer of 2003, he decided to give himself a voice online, and he co-founded MotorCitySports.net (MCS), a Detroit-focused sports blog site.

After several months of running MCS, Kevin and his team took the idea to the next level, and just over a year later, Motor City Sports Magazine was born. MCS Magazine launched in October of 2005, and Kevin's time as co-founder and Editor in Chief ended in February of 2006, when Kevin and his family needed to relocate to Denver, CO.

In Denver, Kevin joined the staff of Mile High Sports, where he served nearly two years as their Online Editor. Kevin was responsible for the daily Web site updates, the construction of the daily newsletter, regular blogging, and the occasional print contribution. It was with MHSM where Kevin learned to edit and manipulate HTML and CSS codes, as well as Flash files.

In 2008, Kevin began the process of launching Michigan's newest and best all-sports magazine – MiSports Magazine. MiSports is set to launch in September of 2008, and will focus on prep, college, and professional sports across the state.

Over the last eight years, Kevin has played a major role in the birth or growth of several magazines and Web sites. He has also written and created marketing materials, hired and supervised writing staffs, managed editorial budgets, interviewed professional athletes and sports personalities, and learned audio and video editing.

All of this, as well as running several blogs that focused on anything from dealing with Alzheimer's Disease, to health and fitness, to the national sports scene.

Kevin has had some tremendous opportunities over the last several years, and he has taken full advantage of those opportunities to further himself as a writer, manager, and all-around good guy.
